ABOUT ME

Since a young age, I’ve always loved telling stories. Whether I was expressing myself through dance performances or through the articles I wrote for my third grade newspaper, I was constantly sharing my passion for storytelling with those around me. The world seemed so wide, so full of information, people and life. Naturally, I wanted to explore that.

I am a recent graduate of Elon University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance Performance & Choreography. My passion for storytelling has grown throughout my undergraduate career, especially after watching the world grapple with a multitude of crises over the years. In my coursework and research, I quickly understood the purpose of the choreographer and the journalist often intertwine: to inform and to inspire. Upon realizing the intersectionality of storytelling methods used in both of my disciplines, I hope to soon be a contributing voice for a broadcast news network and encourage audiences to see the world through a different lens than they did before.
